Our Heroes

ZIG ZIGLAR is a "hero" of ours. One of America's greatest motivational speakers, as well as a tremendous husband, father and human being, Zig is "the real deal." Like Ben Franklin before him, Zig has taken foundational truths from the Bible and restated them in catchy phrases for the masses. His most well-known phrase, which has become the tagline for his entire philosophy, is a restatement of Christ's Golden Rule, to wit: "You can have everything in life YOU want, if you first help enough OTHER people get what THEY want."

Zig Ziglar IS a hero of ours. In fact, John was fortunate enough not only to visit Zig at his Dallas offices, but even to TEACH Zig! Zig, a dedicated Christian, has a voluntary Bible study every Monday for his staff. Over the years he's had guest preachers, missionaries and Sunday school teachers. And, at least once that we know of, he had a REALTOR(r) as guest 'preacher'! The photo at left is John, mid-sentence (as per usual!), with Zig's gray head in the foreground.
